I can understand several words (school, 6-2 classroom, after school, annual, event), but the meaning of the sentence as a whole escapes me.
Also, can someone please explain the expression "飛び抜けて"?
It was used in the phrase "飛び抜けて大柄な少年"

...I actually have one more troublesome sentence, if it's not too much of a bother.
What messes me up is the recurrence of 明文化, which translates into "stipulate"...there are no other options. I tried replacing it with "decision" at first, but decided it didn't fulfill the role like I thought it would. When I try to put it into words, I just can't get it to work.
Also, the third clause doesn't seem to connect with the second at all. Maybe I mistranslated something?

For the first sentence how about something like "Minasama, Nihon taizai chuu ni ha osewa ni narimashita/osewa ni nari, arigatou gozaimasu." I don't know what you are getting at with the second part exactly. :sorry:can you guys help me and correct my translation?

Oh, I know. I thought that she talking to a homestay family or friends and was going for something more personal.There's already a "set phrase" to express that: ご迷惑をかける
皆様に色々とご迷惑をかけ、申し訳ありませんでした。would be one way of expressing it. Japanese society is greased by a recognition and acknowledgement of 迷惑.

Isn't that like if you mess up the partner's schedule, misunderstanding a meeting place, misplacing a CD or such ? I don't think that mine is exactly correct either but let me think on it a bit more.迷惑ばかりかけてごめんね。
The idea of recognizing and acknowledging 迷惑 still applies; you just loosen the uprightness of the phrasing.
