ねこはくろいです。

or something like that

That literally means 'I put my hand on other things easily'. This person wants to say that his/her interests keep changing quickly.

'あんまり良くないよーな ' means '(I have heard something) to be not too good '
 
「なぁな」 (or, alternatively, 「ナァナ」) as a sentence-opener - does it simply work like なぁ?

Another good question from tokapi (oh what a name!).

You say お大事にしてください ONLY when you say good-bye to someone that you know is ill or injured. So it's clearly different from 'take care' in English.
 
A number of questions:

1) To say; 'She needs me,' I am correct in saying 彼女は私を必要としている。 ？

２） ここち It seems like this word has two forms. 心地よい and Verb(i)心地が悪い。 The ssecond form appears to say something like 'to do V is comfortable.' Would this be an accurate translation? Also, for something like 座り心地の悪いいすーーIs it possible to say 心地よくないいす and have it mean the same thing? Is there any difference in nuance/frequence of use between the two?

3) There's a sign in my class that says 思いやりの気持ちを努力する。 Looking up in my dictionary, most of the entries use ように努力する. Is there a difference between the two? Is this the same kind of thing that happens in phrases like 勉強を頑張ります！

4) I was watching 「英語でしゃべらないと」 last night, and at the end, one of the guys said to the English speaking guest (a jpop star from america who is learning japanese), that a useful phrase when excusing oneself from a situation is something that sounded like
'けつ が ありますんで ' What exactly was being said here?

i am kind of confused about ~たり. is it like 先週にお菓子を食べたりした. "last week i did things like eat candy"

I assume the "naoshitakattara" is just a normal way of saying "if you want the hospital to heal you..". Correct? For some reason it looked odd to me, but I would just like some confirmation if I could get it. Thanks.

Change 病院 to 病気 if one is talking about getting an illness treated. Maybe this was why it looked odd to you?

The corrected sentence means "If you want your illness to be cured, you'll have no choice but to listen to the doc."
