Need a movie translated from Japanese to Romanian letters

Hi everyone

I need help with a movie here, i need the speech in japanese translated into romanian letters.

Like, someone says "こんにちは。" then it writes "ko nichi wa".

You want somebody to transcribe this piece of junk for you? As one of the characters says, "Good grief, if you copy the homework you learn nothing." You should try to do it yourself the best you can first, then ask for help with your mistakes.

Now THAT's pretty easy when i'm NOT proficient in japanese in the first place.
I had the documents before but it was lost during hardrive formatting.

And why should i try to transcribe the speech if neither my skills nor my memory serves me enough to do this?

Romanian letters ? They are the same as Roman/Latin characters, afaik. Can you speak Romanian ?

I'm not needing it translated to romanian but romanian LETTERS. Much like normal letters we use everyday which doesn't contain these complex signs japanese, chinese and all other oriental languages use.

I think by translated (sic.) you mean transcribed, and by Romanian letters (sic.), a Romanisation, as Mike understood.
If you have the Japanese transcript, you can get by by transliteration from kana+kanji+romaji to a version of the Roman alphabet which I would assume is either the Norweigian alphabet or the English alphabet.

As for transliterating a Japanese speech, there are several conventions (I think 3) which you need to specify to a professional trascriber before (s)he can proceed with the work; otherwise you might be charged for the extra hours spent to revise the transcribed work into another convention if you are not specific at the time of job order; your order form would normally have these terms in small print, so check with the specifications of your final consumer.

I would say shop around for best quotes/terms in the "translation agencies" in your area. Any kind of trans- job is costly; I have some experience from college -- it paid well.

If you are doing this for self-education, I would suggest you could use J-Talk for experimenting. Those machine transliterations are useful, but only upto a point; you would need to do a thorough reading to weed out odd readings and replace those with good readings. Not knowing Japanese would be an obstacle, and asking a friend to do it for you for free would be... err, improper unless it was a 30 second speech. GL !
