Need a little translation

Well actually a friend of mine asked me to help him to translate a song and we are somehow stuck on a weird sentence...
could anyone help me with it?

the sentence is

信じ合えるから 今があるの 軽やかな気持ち みんな求めてる

and I am very confused on it

Well, lyrics are a bit of a 苦手 of mine, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

"We have this moment because we can believe in each other. Everyone is wishing for an easy feeling."

I hope that makes sense. Does it fit in the song?

As for the sentence, it seems to fit in the context (love and stuff >_<) but still the second part seems weird...

I first had something like:
"Because we managed to trust each other, there's now an easy feeling that everyone's longing for"

However the part "信じ合える" made it kinda hard for me to find a (conventional?) meaning.

一人は嫌だから そばにいてね 見慣れた街並 いつもの景色で

although I am not quite sure of the meaning of 街並

"I don't want to be alone. Stay by my side, will you? The shops lined up on the streets that we're used to seeing will be our usual scenery."

How does that look?

although I am not quite sure of the meaning of 街並

I googled it, and found this as my first hit. I think "shops" is closer than "houses" though (which should be reflected in my translation)

I think I should manage to obtain something understandable (somehow).
As for 街並 (machinami), my dictionary gave me something like "(Look of) houses and stores/street" ^^'
