Need a Kanji Translated? Just ask!

Hi, I'm trying to translate "Last Resort" into Japanese.
However, I found that there is little translation for the word "Resort".
This is what I have so far:

最後の手段

Is this viable? Is there a kanji for resort, or by definition "action of turning to and adopting a strategy or course of action, especially a disagreeable or undesirable one, so as to resolve a difficult situation"?

最後の手段 seems quite common but here are some possible alternatives:

窮余の策 (also could be 窮余の一策)
窮策
苦肉の策

Note that these aren't composed of "last" + "resort" (maybe closer to "desperate measure" if we're being literal) but they have similar meanings.
 
Thanks! Would it be possible to just use 窮余, or would that make little sense at all?
 
窮余 by itself just means "desperation". 策 is the part that expresses the plan/measure being taken in that situation.

窮策 by itself works.
 
This picture, it is supposed to be what my name is in kanji. I would like to know what the characters mean.

 


what is this kanji? Looks like a kokujik, it's a kanji on the sign of Jiro sushi restaurant
 
鮨 perhaps. It would fit the context.

You can write Sushi as すし、スシ, 鮨 or 寿司.

I've figured out almost this entire sentence except for the first kanji.
I get "新しい 冒険を記 録しますか" is basically asking me if I want to record a new adventure.
But I can't read that first kanji in the picture. Can someone translate it for me?

Thanks so much! I was having so much trouble identifying that kanji. All I could see was a mess of pixels.

Yes, that would be correct! I'm playing an old game I've played a few times before but never finished. This time though I'm playing it in Japanese.
 
A general hint: Retro games are plenty popular in Japan, so if you google the name of the game + 攻略 (walkthrough), you're likely to find some sort of wiki or other fan page with transcripts, lists of items in the game, or similar, which may save you some time squinting at pixelated kanji.
 
Unfortunately I can't seem to find any transcripts or lists of dialogue, but I did find some really good guides that'll help out in the future. So thanks for that!

Could they be 絶対? Really hard to see on this screen.
 
That works, thanks! So, the full sentence I have then is:

恥ずかしいです
みんなには,
絶対ナイショですからね...
約束ですよ!

This could mean: "This is embarrassing to anyone, so keep this an absolute secret, ok...? Promise me!" right?
 

Read the second line together with the third line, not the first line.
 
Oh, ok. That does make more sense to use it that way. Commas in Japanese sentences seem to through me off a lot. XD

The sentence-ending です in the first line bears noticing.
