Yes it can and my Japanese is all Osaka ben (Southern Osaka, which makes things worse)
It certainly would be great to put a voice to that cat.

I've been drawing a new tattoo and it is mostly about a Japanese styled woman but I would love to add some kanji-writing there as well. I found this Kanji-writing by using google but I'd love to make sure it really says what it should. I am not really sure if the letter き is written correctly. It seems different. (I want it to say Live with more than one letter) I would also like to know if it's ok to have a word-live tattooed in your arm in Japan? I am going to visit Japan next year and I don't want to be ashamed of my new ink .

Because of the oddity of English spelling could you please clarify if you mean "live" as "opposite of dead" or "live" as "opposite of recorded"?

Hello everyone, first time posting on here! This is the kanji signature (i think?) on a silk painting of a geisha. We would love to know what the name of the artist is who painted it so we can look them up, but I uh... don't read kanji. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 
I can't decipher the first kanji, but the second one seems like the cursive form of 花[hana].

もりともりのあいだにかわがあります
Mori to mori no aida ni kawa ga arimasu.

There are many exceptions, but usually one single kanji is pronounced in kun-yomi rather than on-yomi.
森 もり（訓読み） 森林 しんりん（音読み）
間 あいだ（訓読み） 空間 くうかん（音読み）
川 かわ（訓読み） 河川 かせん（音読み）

According to the previous post I guess it must be "ひと". Am I right?

このくにの じんこう は いちまんにん ぐらいです。
 
Can you, please, help me translate kanji in the picture? I couldn't find radicals that look like corners at the left side of this kanji. Are those even radicals or some technical symbols maybe? Also in context it was before 動 kanji.

I used to play a game called throne of darkness and I am interested in what some of the kanji are/mean. I am pretty sure I know what one of them is. And I think I know what the other means. On the third I am unsure of anything.



this one I think is "ki" 気 and is used as a type of "mana" in the game



This one I think is like life or something. I am unsure of the meaning and what kanji is used.



And this is the one I am unsure of overall. I think it may be related to throne or darkness since that is the title of the game. And it is on the cover. Thanks in advance. I hope my pictures show up. :emoji_fearful:
 
You are correct about 気. The second one is 命, which means "life", as you expected. The last one is 魔, meaning "demon" or "evil spirit".
 
And how are they pronounced? And is the last one akuma as in demon or a different kanji?
 
Ki, inochi, ma, in order
Akuma is a compound word 悪魔.
