Dear native English speakers,
Would both (a) and (b) be used? If so, do they refer to the future or the present?
(a) My parents won't allow me to study abroad.
(b) My parents won't let me study abroad.

Thanks in advance.

Hirashin

Oh, they can refer either to the future or the present. I see. Thanks for the help, Julimaruchan.
