My next cycling/camping adventure will be the Okinawan Islands

I'm actually waiting for a medical health test that will come in this Friday, August 11. But in the mean time I'm almost done with my scheduling other than the plane ticket. I don't know if seats will be available for my departure date ( which is still up in the air ), but I was surprised at the departure prices from Fukuoka to the Okinawan Islands. Sadly, Peach Airways does not allow bikes. So, I'll either rent or just buy.
I'll be going to the following Islands.
1. Ikemajima
2. Irabujima
3. Shimojishima Island
4. Kurimajima Island
5. Ogami Island
6. Iriomotejima
7. Miyakojima
8. Ishigaki Island

9. others I don't know about LOL

I'll be only getting a one-way plane ticket so I have an open schedule. Although I might have to be back in Yamaguchi in December.
I'll keep this thread as my Okinawan Island Adventures.
This Friday will determine when I can leave after the medical result is given to me. So far, the first test was good.

Now I just need to buy some kind of camera with zoom according to Frank here on the forum.

Any suggestions are welcome.
I did find out that there are local ferries to some of the islands, but it is my understanding none from Okinawa /Naha to Miyakojima

You'll see ( point the arrow towards Japan ) and you'll see the wind/and possible typhoons in the making.
As of today another monster is brewing . It is way east of Tokyo right now.

I will. It will be my home away from home. Not in a hurry to return to Yamaguchi either.
