My Girl gives her body

I agree with that.

No financial situation ever warrants selling one's own body, in my opinion.

And solutions are there in many many countries, especially in well-organized ones like Germany and Japan.

It can be true to some extent but sell body because financial difficulties? BS, literally. There's always a way out without committing these things.

There is always a way out, but that way is not always convenient.

Contributions here have been fantastic and turning into a big debate that can last for a really long time. We all think about such things as morals on different levels and what would justify someone to do something indecent for money will require a lot objective thinking to arrive at a reasonable conclusion.
All the same, it very comforting to know your different thoughts and feelings to a universal issue though mine is a case in point.
Beyond other things, my relationship with the girl is good and I consider this as some of the challenges that will test our feelings for each other though I'm completely embarrased just thinking about her indecent profession.
Recently, she has acknowledged the risks that goes with her 'job' and I'm glad she did...

Personally, I wouldn't be able to handle it, if the woman I love were to have sex with another man for any reason.

Mainly because it would shred my heart into a million little pieces, knowing that another man embraced her, kissed her, had sex with her and shared the intimacy that comes with it, as well as received sexual pleasure from her all while she was already committed to me.

EDIT: Oh, and additionally, I would not be able to forgive her and probably lose myself in hate.

Of course, every man has their own view on this and many are perfectly fine with sharing their women, so I guess it's a matter of one's own morals.

I will hereby end my completely useless comment.

Cheers

I think you might have heard the saying that two people who did similar things attract each other. So it's up to you.

A person should never throw away their integrity for money, no matter how bad their financial situation is. Many people work 2 or 3 jobs just to support their family but they do so respectfully. Your girl took the easy way out...selling her integrity for a couple measly bucks...puuuhleease, she could have worked overtime or looked for a 2nd or 3rd job.

[inexcusable sarcasm, trollbaited]
Because we all know nurses have mountains of free time, and perform a function that is directly improved through the stress of additional workloads.
[/inexcusable sarcasm, trollbaited]

Also; how exactly does pre-emptive solicitation of crazy monkey sex violate one's integrity? The only thing Girl A did against integrity was break some (admittedly deeply significant) assumption that was held about her, and even had the decency to admit it to someone it could affect.

Its helpful to remember that voluntary prostitution can be more financially rewarding than any other career available for the appropriate age range (16-30 something probably). Hell, the more amusing government admins (Spitzer?) of 'Mericka have put $4k/h ****** in the public limelight recently enough.

I don't find humor in your sarcasm.

You talk about the girl having decency? Ha, you're delusional, aren't you?

Kristo: I don't know her financial situation...but I think it's quite funny that her monetary problems haven't subsided even after YEARS of prostituting. Maybe her crying out to you was just a ploy into giving her money. Or maybe she is genuinely trying to grasp a way out of prostitution; which you are her only ray of hope. Either way, you need to look deep inside of you and figure out if you truly want to be in a relationship with a girl who has lied to you.

About what exactly?

Apparently about you saying that the girl has decency.

At least that's what she alludes to and I can't be bothered to read it up right now.

Regardless, "decency" is an entity which is non-existent in the life of a prostitute.

Im getting the feeling that we can hardly answer the the question of the OP. I mean, we're discussing a person whom we do not, and most probably never will know. Her personality is an enigma to all of us.
Also, decency is good and noble, but following the same values that sort of "attack" the notion of prostitution, I can not seem to justify disclosing this "secret" she finally told the OP, to a whole forum of strangers.
Might just be me, but say, if we can call prostitution whilst engaged in a relationship betrayal, in that case this betrayal was reciprocated by the disclosure of such personal information.

Again, this is just a sort of "what if?" kinda idea, as obviously I do not know enough about the circumstances.

I disagree with you on the basis, that we do not know each others real identities.

Personally, it would be a completely different thing if we knew each other.

As long as everything stays nameless, I don't see how that is betrayal.

Especially since people simply need someone to turn to and ask advice about things that matter to them.

If they don't have such a person in their real life or it wouldn't be safe to do so, then an anonymous group of people who don't know each other would be the best thing to turn to for advice and thoughts, in my opinion.

Good guys. this is a forum and i have read so many things, some scary, others funny, while many are unbeliveable which is what makes it a forum with variety and interesting to join. I shared my experience not as pay back to the girl, on the other hand it was to know other people's views on such a sensitive subject as 'prostitution'. I'm not the first or the last that this will happen to and many will be on the alert because in our modern world today you never the know the suprises that awaits you in life.

After some heavy thoughts, I will break-up with the girl because...no good reasons are coming to focus on her behaviour. It might not be easy for her but it will be the best decission since its taking her longer than necessary to end her...i don't even have name to give her 'profession'

I agree with you completely.

Mostly because I would've done the same thing, though much quicker.

I think that you should support her, but at the same time be very carefull...
But that's the kind of situation which must be very hard, not only for you but also for her...

Well I do agree with you, but I also think that you must call her "profession" by its name "prostition", I think that it might be a bit hard for a woman who does it, but I also try to see it as normal thing, I mean, I try to not judge it...
But if you think that things are getting bad, then yes you should break-up...
I wish you good luck...

Very impressive Remixer and Isuzu, really you guys should be in a profession like consultancy. This is the kind of services that people pay for to see 'shrinks' etc but here, opinion and views are shared without fear or favor since it will be hard to know who is who. For the record, I have not shared this story not even to my best friend and I plan to keep it that way. On this forum, I did so because no one will ever know the real identity of those involved.
Remixer is very strong on the point that I should have ended my relationship as soon as the secret came out..I totally agree.
Isuzu believes in compassion suggesting I take some time think and help the girl out but the question is in what way should I offer to help her? I have asked her if I can help her financially she said no...quite not convincing for me...maybe she has something more than just the 'sex for money' job. On the contrary, things are very fine between us apart from the fact that I just cannot live every day thinking of what prostitution is and my girl is a prostitute...

It pleases me to hear that you are not sharing this subject with everyone, because especially for her its a situation which I believe that must be very complicated.
When I tell you to support her, its not to give her money (that's the thing of being careful) you should be very supportive with her in matters of emotions, to show her that she can count on you at least as a good friend, but don't give her money, you never know if she's not just doing a good "joke" to get your money (it looks a bit like a movie but it happens in real life)...
I wouldnt sujest you to break-up with her just because she's told you her secret, if she told you its because she cares about you and she trusts you, and that is something very important. Though I would sujest you to break-up with her if things can't work out like that, if you cant deal with the fact that she has a profession more "alternative"...
I wish you good luck and I hope you can sort things out

I believe most of us guys understood the woman's perspective in this (at least I did), but that makes the secret no less heartbreaking.

No matter how much someone has to trust someone else before they can divulge their secret, even if it's the person they love, it doesn't make the pain involved any less.

It's as if someone you love told you a secret that they plan on killing your parents. Sure, the person trusted and liked you very much and that's why they told you this secret, but it doesn't go any less against your own feelings and thoughts, now does it?

Plus, being a prostitute while committed is the same as cheating on your partner, in my eyes. Neither should be forgiven.

I do agree with you in some point, but do you it it would have been better if didnt had told him and keep cheating on him like a normal thing?
At least she's been honest, but now its up to him to see if he can deal with such thing or not...

Of course it would be much worse if she also kept lying to him.

But truth be told, with such a secret there are only two real paths for the woman to go along:

1. Lie and keep it a secret until you die or are found out in some other way.

2. Be honest and be prepared to lose the one you love.

Also, what boggles my mind is that he offered her financial support and she refused.

She should be thankful for getting any response out of him, but then to refuse either shows a complete lack of decency in her or she is being plainly stupid.

On a personal level, I would rather live poor than have a prostitute girlfriend/wife.

Kristo, if you want to help her, you should. That is, if she lets you.

If you don't want to help her, it doesn't matter. Her being a prostitute while you were committed to each other and already having refused your support just goes to show that it wouldn't work out anyway.

Also, I would keep in mind, a woman who sleeps with strangers for something as ridiculously low as money has no need for a faithful partner.

You would be wasted on her.

Good points, excellent views...but its worrying and many will agree not knowing the characters in this story does not make it any easier. Sorry its going to stay that way...what I enjoy is the many contributions and it helps for one to deal with something so easy but complicated.
I have been with my share of girls but this particular case might make me lose faith in women...I-m-a-g-i-n-e the odds of that. In the past, I was like a play boy...hitting on everything that catches my attention...if you guys understand what I mean. Sometimes it happened by accident, other times by choice and most of the time the most...lust. That past I decided to put it away and take a one lane track...but this is what happens. With an experience like this who do you balme?

Blame society, God, immorality, money, Capitalism, Communism...etc etc.

No matter what or who you blame, there really isn't someone or something to properly blame.

You shouldn't lose your faith in women because of one. She might have been a *****, and most are too, but that doesn't mean there aren't faithful, decent women out there to fall in love and enjoy life with.

After all, I live in a corrupt world as well, have made more than my fair share of experience with women, see the same thing happening everywhere, and I haven't given up either.

That may mostly be due to witnessing one of my best friends having fallen in love with one of the very few women I know to be a decent person, whom happens to be a far-related cousin (8th degree or something along that line) of mine.

The past doesn't matter. We have all made mistakes, I believe. To learn and mature from them is a part of life.

Cheers

Remixer, you are absolutely right. But losing faith does not mean I will give up thinking that there are no good women, what I meant was instead of leaving myself vulnerable for such a thing to happen, I will henceforth take a different apprach dealing with females. Not in any bad way but before I even think that someone is out there good for me, there will be a lot of screening...you never know. Once bitten, twice shy..
