it is a Seagull C6 + Cedar that my mother bought for me 3 years ago
for about $400 Cdn

I guess it is due to the weather
I found there are two long cracks on the guitar body
the first crack is about 10 inches
second crack is about 7 inches

I have decided to take the guitar to a repair shop tomorrow or so
the cost is about $10 to $25 per inch
I guess it could cost anywhere from $150 to $200 in total
money is a problem but I will take the guitar to repair anyways...

if you are a guitar lover, when your guitars get hurt, especially some major damage, you are just gonna feel so bad,not because of the cost to fix it....

Wow....I would be sad if my baby (guitar) got hurt !!! :( *If I actually played it ^^' *

i was really anoyed with myself when i damaged one of the machine heads on my epiphone les paul studio 3 weeks after i bought it :( i managed to fix it, but it still made me sad..

I get really defensive over my guitars if i bump them slightly on my chair or my computer desk when im sitting playing along to something :D

Heh, speaking of that, I used to cringe everytime my Gibson Les Paul Standard's headstock would bang into something (which happened way too often). I think I just started to get used to it, though, seeing as how it never seemed to hurt the instrument. That thing has been through some sh*t.

just took it to a guitarshop for repair today
it takes about $60 to 70
it will return home in about a week

That's not too bed, eh? It sounded like it was cracked pretty badly, but it looks like you're coming out alright. 👍

Think of it like this: say you break your femur and you are bedridden in a hostpital for a month. You would probably be like: OMFG, dude... I broke my thigh! what mate?!

But then, after a month of lying in bed (+ a few months on crutches), you come out ok. So of course you're gonna be like: well, I broke my femur... but how many people can say that! :box:

The moral: how many people can play Stairway to Heaven on their leg?
