Hi all,
Sorry to spam on your lovely forum like this, but I thought you might be interested in this fundraising project for Japan.
The project is called Soundcrane. It's a compilation of Australian musicians creating cover versions of Japanese compositions to raise money for the disaster relief effort. Every cent you pay goes to the Red Cross in Japan.
Some of Australia's best artists have contributed, including The Boat People, McKisko, and Lawrence English. The songs covered are very diverse, including J-pop classics from Shiina Ringo and Remioromen, and the more obscure works of Boris and Tenniscoats. For anyone interested in Japanese music it's a great listen.
