I have been interested in Japan since I was a child. I am now 17 and considering moving to Japan in the future. I live in America and I don't like it much here and I never really did. I am just very worried about where would I live where would I get a job what type of visa. Stuff like that.I think I know most of the bad things about japan and the whole thing about outsiders but I am treated like an outsider in usa as well because i am from england and have an accent.

Do Japanese see people by race or by money. I hear a lot about this.

Start with looking at the FAQ section. There's a lot of good information there.
Race or money? If they see us at all, it is by nationality (everybody who speaks English is American, right?:-) )

I was also thinking of moving to japan in the future. I would like to visit while on vacation first, just to get used to the life there before a full move.
I think its a good idea :)

Thinking about moving to Japan in the future is like thinking about writing a best selling novel after you graduate college... There's a whole lot of stuff in the middle between the "thinking about" part, and the "moving to" part that doesn't always translate to a happy ending.

It is an idea to find highschool exchange programs today or tommorow.
If your city or state is lucky to have some sister city working program with Japan, it will also be your choice.

While you see good/bad things in Japan or somewhere, you cannot see them in the US or UK. Nobody could use the Ninja magic, two different places at a time.

I think the best thing you should do first is going on a holiday to Japan and see what it is like in the first eye.

Same as anyone else in here, I recommend you to just have a look arround on the forum, and if you have any specific question just ask it.

Take care.

I think I will go on holiday there. The thing that I have having issues with atm is about working visa's.

The best way for you to get a working visa in Japan is to first get a bachelor's (4 year) degree at college. Usually that is required.
