Motorcycles in Japan, Custom or Manufactured.

Hey, I was wondering, in Japan, I was told that Motorcycles were popular amongst the people living there. Is that mainly bikes like the Yamaha Katana, Honda Bikes, Toyota Bikes, or is it custom built type bikes such as the ones From West Coast Choppers, Orange County, or Choppers Inc. I was curious to see what people have to say. I pesrsonally want t obuild my own custom bike, though I having trouble designing it. Any ideaas for a theme for the paint.

Custom choppers look neat, but when you're my age (20 years older than you) they look as though they're built to be as impractical and uncomfortable as possible. My fave is the Honda VFR 800 (pre-VTEC), with the '95-'99 Triumph Thunderbird as my fave "naked" (standard) bike.

As for a theme, do something very personal to you. If you're into swords, have the grips wrapped and things like that. Now that I think about it, a sword-themed chopper would look pretty cool.....

Cool, Im glad to have found a motorcycle enthusiast. I thought the sword themed bike would look good. I thought about using a Katana theme with the paint Job.
