no problem, the dollar these days is very unstable...so if u are planning on going to japan, u have to wait for the moment when u get a lot of yen for 1 $
It depends on where you live, but I think the cost of a condo that size will be around $400,000 in the Tokyo area. $1 million and higher for anything in the heart of Tokyo, because developers don't build cheap-looking homes and buildings in central locations. Prices vary by the size of each room and location (accessibility to the nearest railway/subway station/school; quality of construction, etc.). Don't expect the rooms to be as large as those in the US or Canada.
A large part of the cost is land, rather than anything built on top of it.
