Monbukagakusho Undergraduate 2016

Hi guys
I am from Iran. Last year my country was eligible to apply. But recently I have found a PDF in which is written just 15 countries (except Iran) are eligible for MONBUKAGAKUSHO 2016. I called to Japan embassy in Iran. They said I should stay for new update in their website.
Do you have any information about this issue?

it s good to submit it if you have because in the most country we don t do an exam to go at university. does it start in your contry. why do you that you will not be taken for the document screening

this is very improbable don t be afraid ok. but if you want send the link for examination by otherone. and start to study

guys it might be silly question but just to make sure you guys are gonna take mext exam this year and if selected you will arrive japan in April 2016 right. also can anyone tell me about the release date of application forms

yes! it s that for what do field dou aplly i have a for college student but the application start in most country at the 3rd week of april don t be worry

this is not concern you. do you want to study medcine? are you graduate from secondary school ? i think you must apply for undergraduate not for YPL wich concern men who is already working

I would like to give emphasis on this sentence, "Applicants must either have completed a 12-year regular course of school education or have graduated from a school equivalent to an upper secondary school in Japan."

As far as I know we still need to pursue two more years of education here... Because we know that Japan has 12 years of formal education, we're lacking two years. Meaning, we only have 10 years. To meet the requirement, we still need to study 1st year and 2nd year college here ( so there would be 10 years+ 2 years of college). From what I know, that is the equivalent of an upper secondary school in Japan.

It's good thing that our government is now implementing the K-12 Curriculum. With that, we can easily cope up to the changes happening in this modern and global world we have na.

Hoping we can pass the exam... Hoping we can all be Monbukagakusho scholar someday! ^^ May God bless us all =)

Yes, you're right. I'm planning for Social Sciences and Humanities B (Economics). I chose this because Economics is what I'm interested most. Hahahaha

My priority this summer vacation is studying Nihongo language.. hahahaha. I'm going to deal with Math when I become 1st year college (Grade 11) this August. Hahahaha...

yes i m appliying for medcine . and i already in college but i stop it for study for monbusho exam . but i like economics too and i project to study after medcine the application will begin the thursday . but i worried about choose medcine because the selection criteria is too high

I'm just another dude applying for Monbukagakusho: to begin studying in 2016. Here's my question:
Is it possible to get accepted to such universities as Uni of Kyoto, Tokyo, Hokkaido?
If I write them all in my application attachment will it just lower my chance of getting to study anywhere at all?

Hi! It depends upon your performance on the preparatory course. If your grades are high , then there's a high chance of being admitted to a first class university in Japan (University of Kyoto, Tokyo, Keio, Hokkaido etc.). Opposite will happen if your performance is low) Good luck!

Medicine? Wow. So if ever you pass the exam then you'll be staying in Japan for seven years? That would be great! ^_^...

Anyways, don't be bothered about the selection criteria. Bothering more may cause distraction. Just focus on reviewing. Hahahaha... ... The power of focus will make you on the top

i will stay for more 7years because i want to do my internat there and maybe live there thanks for your advice . do you want to apply for 2016
