There's no information on the average really..just try to aim for at least more than 50%~

Good news to the applicants from the Philippines, you can apply the scholarship as a high school graduate. Too bad for me I missed my chance last year. But as a college student, I actually tackled a lot of advanced subjects and most of them are actually asked in the past exams, so lucky me :-D.

Advice to MEXT Applicants, dont just focus on the Japanese language unless your taking Social Science and Humanities. If you're going to pursue Natural Sciences, better study chemistry, math, and biology. And its completely understandable for the test examiners that an applicant doesn't know japanese since its not our primary language so worry not. Knowing it just gives a boost, but its no use if you fail the other exam. So good luck to all of us

In Natural Science, every test is important except japanese test. But if you got a very high score on math,physics,chem etc, and kind of low (40/100 will do, maybe) in other or vice versa it might be good also.
 

I didnt read the last part that said D3 was the Qualifying Exam for College of Technology. So i studied the chemistry and it was so advanced (T.T) and i got discouraged a little. But i found out that it was not for undergraduate, hahahaha. It kinda hurt my pride when im enrolled to an advanced chemistry subject (Chemical Kinetics) and i cant even answer one item hahaha.

You guys should start studying too
 
hi everybody's it s true that studies for this exam may chock much of person but we must try and also remember japan at every time . don t give up and God will take it over. and don't study to get a minimum average but to get all to make your self free at the 2nd selection by mext .see you in japan . and please will you post the other exam paper like 2011 2014 and 2014 may be .
 
if i apply for science naturel is it meanning that i have low chance to get this scholarship ?

yes it have it s for that you must work hard to make yourself free at 2nd screeming. do you have 2011 past exam

I know nothing for sure but I just mean aim to get at least more than 50% since they want some pretty good scores

In the past papers, there are two maths, math a and math b. Which one is for natural science b? Or you must take both of them?

2. Which are the necessary Kanjis I should learn?

hi everyone I too want to apply for MEXT this year. but don't know much about it . can anyone give me general idea when will the application form release i think it in April or June but not sure .i would be great if someone can give me a bit of info on how tough the exam can be Anata no subete o mitasu tame ni subarashī. Well, I just focus on one subject at a time. When im done with biology 2013, i will proceed to biology 2012 so that the topics wont be juggled and messed up. But im not studying intensively because im not 100% sure that i will pass the documents screening.

I am going to apply for Natural Sciences B: Agricultural Sciences. Im already a college student taking up BS in Agricultural Engr so i decided to choose related fields Plus im not so sure about my skills in physics that's why i didnt chose the ones in Natural Science A. hehe :-D
 
Hello guys! I just wanna ask what you think about this. . .

In the guideline, it said that you can submit a certificate of passage of university entrance qualification examination but it is up to you if you have one or not. Does submitting this along with your documents increase your chances at getting picked at the documents screening?

Also, if you haven't seen the actual application form yet, it said that if you have conducted a research study, you can attach the abstract of your study but it is again not required. Does submitting this affect your chances too?

I asked/emailed my embassy about this and they only said that its best to follow what is asked. Does these documents matter or not? So what do you guys think??
