@miyavi lover: hardly. Miyavi isn´t Visual Kei anymore, he can say it as much as he wants. VK is something different from what he does. Well, maybe , I hope he will return to VK, but...his last song didn´t convince me at all...which is bad, because I have tickets for his concert in Wien, but I am still pondering wheter to go there or sell the tickets...because when he starts crying "tel me whyyyyyyyyyyy" on the stage I am afraid I will be very angry and dissapointed

Saying Miyavi isnt vk anymore is kinda funny, cuz what is Visual Kei nowadays? its gonna keep changing and changing, but will always b the same in my opinion. its like Rock and Roll. What is rock and roll now? its changed soooo much,but its still the same, if u get what i mean. theyre artists and they have to abude by their own interpretations, thats y we love this, cuz its always different... just my 2 cents.

I agree with INDIA. And still, there are many kinds of Visual Kei, so if he dresses, for example, like Bou (AnCafe) he can still say that he's dressing Visual kei, because Oshare kei (which AnCafe wear) is kind of Visual Kei too. ;]

well, I don´t agree, he isn´t VK anymore. Which doesn´t say he can´t make good music, not at all. But even if you can´t exactly define VK, you can in some extent. Oshare is VK, allright..but I ask you one question: would you e.g. define Ayumi Hamasaki or Koda Kumi as VK? I doubt...and what MYV composed in lastf few decades falls rather int pop and hip-hop category as rock, glamrock, which is, still, the base of VK. On the other hand, L´arc n ciel, Glay, or Gackt aren´t VK either, althought they are rock (or pop when Gackt)
anywaym to his blog..ok a child, but more than going "awww, what a cute child" I would go now "awww, what a cute father", because he looks better on that pic than he did in last few months.
Hm...maybe I start to look forward to the concert.

hey man, its not that big of a deal, but it is what it is. and we gotta get out that mindset of always tryna define things. that blocks our creativity and we only regress. but if u really wanna define everything by when it first started, then rock and roll is not rock and roll. please tell me what it is then. didnt miyavi say that in order to b unchanging we have to constantly change, something along those lines?

well, I don´t say everything necessarily has to be precisely defined, but definitions are here for some reason..you can t live in chaos. but A definition isn´t a boundary you can´t cross, but it is there. In order so you can live your life.
I don´t agree that everything is relative..at least not in your sense. I don´ know why you have a problem with accepting MYV isn´t VK anymore. I think you agree with me that pop is not rock and heavy metall is not jazz..or am I wrong?
