there is something online that I found a while back called I think dvd unlocker, I did have to pay like ten dollars for it but that's nothing considering what it gave me in return. Apparently just about every dvd player made in the last 5 years or so (maybe older I dont know for sure) has the ability to play all region dvd's but it's been locked away because the companies obviously dont want the consumers to know that, they obviously want us to spend even more money on something like a region free dvd player or keep us from getting cheap dvd's from other countries, but this program I bought tells you that a simple 4 or 5 digit code will unlock the region playing abilities in your dvd player. It's crazy but it's true. They gave me a huge list of dvd player brands and models, I found mine on the list, it showed me the code so I typed it in on my remote and it unlocked it just like that. I can watch any dvd from anywhere in the world on my dvd player. Thanks to that I've got 13 concert dvd's (2 miyavi, 2 gazette, 1 alice nine, 1 ancafe, 1 Hyde, 3 l'arc-en-ciel, 2 gackt, 1 malice mizer), plus another dozen or more limited edition dvd's that come with the cd's. I've also got a few pv dvd's like Gackt's Red and Blue collection and Hyde's Roentgen Stories, and some movies like Moon Child, Kagen no Tsuki: Last Quarter, ORESAMA!!! and the Death Note movies...anyways, look that thing up, it's worth it big time!!!
