And it's my favorite.

And I think you're refering to the old rocker Miyavi. It was definitely chaotic and...sometimes really annoying...but his music is MUCH different now!!

He's turning pop!! Aaaaaa!!!

But it's really good. Most people at first really don't like Miyavi and I think it's because they listened to too much earlier bad songs....but depending, if you hear his new ones they're really really good. He has so much potential and he's getting better and better.

i kinda wished he did more songs like his old ones....oh his good old indies days.... i don't want Miyavi going pop.. the thought still scares me...

His music is like he is, weird, jumpy, unpredictable and maybe a bit chaotic.

But thats the way I like it.

I got to know Meevs though 2 songs and 1 bad due le quartz picture, so I wasn't in love with him from the start, but I DID like his music.
When I got sick and tired of those 2 songs I went out to hunt for moooore and thats when I found out what eyecandy Meevs really is^^

My theorie is that the type of music you like is somewhat the description of your character.
So thats why people are so sensitive when someone insults their music. It's sortof like insulting someone's personality.

I like Miyavi because he was forced upon me. I didn't like him the first time I heard him, but a friend had a cd and we were driving to a con and the whole drive thats all we listened to, after about 2 listens through I found myself humming the songs.

miyavi is a hot freak thats why i love him i dont care if his voice is good or not he is one of the best entertainers for me he write and play and sing all songs self so i think he desereves a lot of respect for this!!!! :cracker: :win:
Another thing is im tired of the good singing stars like kelly clarkson rihanna whoever over and over the same melody its annyoing

WOW!!!.. what an arguement!!.. glad i missed that!! I think it might be partly my fault my friend likes Miyavi now... after her having to listen to me drooling on about Miayvi 24/4 and most of the time it was quite literally!!

I like the variety in his work to... lots of music just sounds exactly the same.. once youve heard one song, youve heard the lot! but so far i havent seen two songs that have been the same *ahemr'n'bahem*.... so GO MIYAVI!!!

^ haha well i wouldnt say its wrong since its a forum to discuss EVERYTHING Miyavi... likes and dislikes (because this isnt a safe haven as mentioned before)

but yea since there are alot of fans in here one must watch what they say and how they say it... it can get quite touchy and ugly in here when there's a clash of opinions!!

^ well usually a forum is used to share your thoughts and opinions about topics. There are many times where people will go into a forum for a singer and express their dislike of them. I for one have no problem with that. I just hope that they would express their opinion in a respectful manner so as not to offend any of the fans.

Unless the rules of the thread specify no bashing, then i don't see why people can't say what they feel (even if they don't have the same opinion as you)

Yamete Shite Sawaranaide has a similar feel to that song....
and the web links i gave you, i think the Mr. Goddess one is better for listing out the songs since it has album covers and everything. IceScream has a good gallery up for Miyavi pics tho!

yeah.... if people were able to say what they wanted without saying ouright "I hate Miyavi" but to say why might be less insulting for those Miyavi fans.. im guessing they would hate it if we went onto a forum about something they loved, they'd get pretty damn pissed off at us insulting it... not that any J-Rocker is bad!!! I dont know quite why you'd want to go onto a forum just to say how much you hate someone though!! seems kinda pointless!!!

I'm blunt; I usually don't spare anyone or try say something in a way that's not going to offend anyone. I just say it. Just call me the quintessential American a$$hole, whatever.

I can't comprehend all the hype surrounding him; it baffles me. He's a musician, so I'm going to judge him by his music. And judging him by his music, well...

However, I'm willing to be exposed to The Light.

You dont have to like him... I mean one of my friends hated his music and thought he was to damn good looking for his own good!! (he is to damn good looking though!!) and that people only like him for his looks which i think there are some people who do that but i dont think anyone on this forum does!! but if you give him a chance you may end up loving him... I wasnt to sure about his music to begin with but it stedily grew on me, very fast admitedly!! but now i cant get enough of it!!! Jibun Kakumei is a cool song: it was the one that really obsessed me with Miyavi and i still love it!!!

First time I heard of/saw Miyavi was when a friend sent me one of his zappy messages. She warned me "Here's a weirdo for you, have fun". Weird indeed. So after that went to find some of his songs, and found Pop is Dead. Sent it to my friend, she liked it, too, and so we got kinda hooked on him. :joyful:
