there are prettier people then him, that are also much more succsesfull. I just don't think he's that special. Yeah, he's a good musician, but his voice is..well..not that good..And he's in every, I mean every JRock magazine. He should concentrate on the music, not on the way he looks. I like his music first, his look is just by-the-side. Although, I admit, he is damn cute...in a miyavi kinda-way.I read on his official site that he's gonna change his name into Miyavi-sama...speaking about vanity..Miyavi-sama..vanity..

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is prettier than Miyavi and he's from Ireland. In my opinion he's prettier, and there's also Vincent Perez and Vincent Cassel..they're pretier than Miyavi too. Actully Vincent Cassel is pretty in my opinion, he's ugly to lots of people, but that's just my opinion of beauty.

Eh, just google imaged them and wasn't really impressed (horrible understatement). I mean, I can understand if it's Gackt or Hyde, but they don't even come close to pretty. ;_;

There's a surgery that you can get on your eyes that is quite a popular surgery in Asia.
Some people said Miyavi had this, because you can notice the difference of his eyes then and now.
Hehe, his personality... actually, apart from PVs, clips and photoshoots, I can't get an idea of his personality, because this act that he puts on, it's all exactly just 'act', isn't it? I quite like his music (not one of my very favourites but I do like it), but I never tried to have an opinion on his personality... I guess it's very 'manufactured' because it's a lot of 'image' and not a lot 'candid'... but maybe even that says something about his personality itself but since his 'real' personality is too hard to fathom, I don't think about it very much. The big ego image, I think that's just a fake thing, but what is underneath I have no idea. ☝

Most asians prefer to use the chinese zodiac, but i prefer the greek. But Miyavi is a Virgo, as am I. And while the mentality (Japanese vs America) might be different I think I can understand his personalit, just a little bit though, cause their is always the exception to the rule, for example Virgo's are neat and organized. I don think tt havin a surgery is weird.. it's kinda normal in Japan.. plus if he reali did, he did it jus prefectly well.. makin him more.. good-lookin than before.. ^^

Oh man, thinking of that really brings some things into sharp focus! lol. I have to agree with this whole talk about his ego and vainty being sort of a turn off. I like meevs music but at times him being silly and egocentric all the time does tend to get on people's nerves. Now, I'm a Miyavi fan, I don't think I will stop being one if he becomes Japan's next *****...and upseating Gackt (lol) because for some reason, I couldn't stop loving the guy. However, at times one needs to speak the truth, or give hard love. He is pretty but he's not the prettiest j-rocker out there. I'd pick all of Dir en Grey over him any day of the week, but that's because I've been a Dir fan for almost four years now and I love meevs, but he'll not soon remove these five guys from my heart anytime soon. And...that is all ^.^ Still love the guy, mind you.

Well, the surgery sounds pretty reasonable. I'm kind of happy to know he's not perfect. But still, it could be just a rumor; are there links to the interview(s) where he talked about the surgery?
