i started with miyavi in jrock. but now im deeper 😭 so i dont listen so much or follow new things by him

due my obssesion with him i even got my lip pierced. it was the same piercing and my family went crazy 🙇‍♂️

from miyavi i love onpu no tegami and jingle bell kari. and that pv with umbrella and blowing dandelions is really lovely.

aw eikou, i know that feeling. we all started with some bands, and sooner or later, we branch out and sometimes, we don't really obsess anymore over those earlier bands that we started out listening. its something like the spark is gone. like in my case, it's L'Arc~en~Ciel and Gackt. i mean, if they come out with something new that i like, i'll still buy it but to an extend. i wonder if anyone else feels the same or if its just me.
 
i saw it in piercing shop and it was the same (maybe it wasnt really ment for the lip i dunno). and then when i said to the pierecing master i want this in the lip he was so proud because i dare to do something like that and that he's sick of doing just random holes :devilish:
but i had it removed cos my dad went really crazy. and i can't find the piercing now 😭 my only memory is lost. i hope somewhere under the bed 😭

yes exactly. it's sad when i have no will to look at new updates of some band or something. but... i can't help it.

and on the other hand... it's good. because you develop your true genre. and it's silly if u push yourself and want to get every new info if that band just isn't what it was too u. i dunno... we all change. i wont even say where i started my music taste :sick:
 
I know the feeling, Rika - the first Japanese band I listened to was Malice Mizer (and I still do love their music), then I began listening to Gackt and L'arc~en~ciel simply because they were the next bands/artists I heard of. But I don't actually have that many of their songs - I quickly began to find out about other bands and it all snowballed from there.

Although I never really 'obsessed' over anyone/band... :unsure: I don't mean to sound like a snob or something but it's just the truth. I just have certain favourites (quite a long list of favourites, actually if the truth be known!), but in terms of the actual people behind the music, in some of the bands I like the best I don't even remember the names of the members. I'm just lazy like that. :sorry: If a band is really well-known and you see them everywhere, like Dir and Gazette, I tend to remember the names then, but otherwise... I have to go look them up. 😌

But anyway... Myv is the topic... welcome, Eikou! 🙂
 
its easy to know about those bands updates/what they are releasing even without searching for it. it'll either be in this forum or others :D

To be honest, I get all my news from JaME and forums. I don't have a single artist's 'official site' on my 'favourites', and the only official sites I regularly check out are Kozi, Eve of Destiny and MUCC. However, that has a lot to do with the fact that my works computer won't even allow flash player, neither Japanese script. :(

and I'm on the same boat as you are, being infected by other bands and artists, first a song from Malice Mizer, then Gackt, then oh-so-unique-and-wonderful-Kagrra, then the road-of-the-never-end-Miyavi, then the oh-god-where-they've-been-all-my-life-Gazette, hollymotherofgod Dir En Grey...etc
but for most artist and music in general, I'm kinda sorta like Kinsao, having
certain favorites, and I still can't remeber one of the member of Dir En Grey....:p
The band can have other piece of music which I completely cannot comprenhend and absolutely hate, but that doesn't make me hate the band, just swimming into the song/music/styles I like, I'm sure no one can please everybody forever....

ah! obaut the pircing....a friend of a friend have the same pircing too but in purple, i like alot the miyavi's piercings, i want to pierce my self just like him, the problem is the school...i have recently paint my hair in pink, and i have to hide it with paint for shoes 😌 .....don't tell my principal 😊

aah! my firt band was Laruku and now i don't have many news from them, but i still listen at them.
first i was interested at j-pop but now i'm a extremely lover of visual kei, i think i love miyavi more from his fillings and he as a person than he as a singer, because i think he is a show boy as he said, and what he realy is is a guitarrist! 😌

haha don't pierce too much hahah miyavi said he doesn't like too much piercings on girls. well actually he said doesn't but added 'if she's cute, then it's alright' :sick: make up your mind myv! i only have 9 on my ears and i'm afraid to pierce anywhere else :p

my current playlist besides miyavi has plastic tree, SID, kagrra, gazette's new album, and my favorite song EVER from gackt (emu ~for my dear~)

I think what made me so attractied to miyavi is his style, he doesnt have a certain genre and its pretty amazing that he does whatever he wants AND it sounds amazing. with his MAD guitar skills :D
 
Well I aslo have changed from the first band I heard up to now but I have to admit that Miyavi has become an obssesion to me hahah.....I have I percing on my nose and two in each ear I hope thats not too much....😊 But yes I agree with Chisa his style is what makes him so special and hot!!!!!1😊
 
yes i'm agree! his hot! ummn...i never get tired of malice mizer and gackt, same with gazette and i'm discovering déspairs ray, umn, sometimes i don't want to listen to miyavi, specialy "ippiki no kami ron" because i so screamy and it's not a good option to listen at if it is in your first place on your play list haha. but always i got a new myv's song i get traumatized with him again and i listen at all his songs again , but i never get tired about his pics ^^

ummn...kagrra is new? i had never seen or heard nothig about them, only alot of photos and many people talking about them but about music nothin'

yep!!! hahah thats pretty cool which part from mexico are you from??? Im from mexico city...We should plan a trip to japan and go to many many many Jrock concerts including miyavi and gazette!!! :-)

ah you don't need to have a credit card. most of them accept IPMO from many countries. you can get the money order in your post office then send it to them~ i haven't tried buying online but i know cdjapan and some others are quite secure. i think there is no night in girl pv

haha yup, miyavi wears his used clothes. He doesn't go shopping much. He says that he keeps the clothes he used in PVs, photoshoots and wears them. And he also wears the clothes that fans donate to him as well. so sweet, ne? that's a rare quality for someone so famous. well kaoru says he wears the underwear that fans give him too lol but that's another case XDD

and I found out what I had forgotten`about the type of girl he likes ~ he once said he likes girls who are energetic, who do not have a lot of tattoos or piercings, and he likes to make them laugh. :-)
