I think Gackt may well be bi... but, he says he never had a sexual relationship with a man... don't know if that's true or what. But anyway, he likes women, does Gackt! Ummm... he was married once, but it didn't work out. According to his autobiography, his wife got really stressed out by all the crazy fans and she got scared to leave the house and I think she had a breakdown or something... :? ... but I can't remember that well. And who knows how true is what he put in the autobiography?

I know what you mean about not knowing much about their girlfriends... they say things in interviews about what kind of girl they like, or whatever... but I never heard much about their actual relationships.

I think they choose to keep it quite secret to give the girl and themselves some privacy.

Also, they are always busy with making songs, touring etc. etc... so it's probably difficult that they find the time for a relationship, too... that sounds really immature written like that, but I think it can happen when life is so busy and all...

if you posterize a picture in some photoedit thing... print it, trace the outline of all the colours..... and there you have it
you just need to then back trace it onto some paint bord, and then inck it in with a perminat grey barcker... or some kind of stain.... would be pretty simple really

i think guys such as that have it really tough.... because they have such a huge female fanbase...
i mean, sure over here you got guys like brad pitt, johney dep... the likes, but... they've always been very open about their relationships, because it's what's ment to happen... they're supposed to date amazingly beautiful girls and such...
but i think if any of these guys were to actually get a girlfriend at this time... can you imagin how much trouble she'd cause among the fanbase?

i hate to say it, but most of the Jrock fanbase seems to be led by the delusin that they're all just hott single guys and there's the chance a fan will end up with one of them... i find that... their completel beauty is a huge distraction from the fact that they're all amazing musicians...

for example, in the lives that i've seen.... there's been no clapping or raw of applause... there's only been a hidiously large amout of fan girls screaming the band mambers names at every chance they think they might be heared
(except for the live audio i have of Art of Life... the chears in that made me happy, but there were still a lot of fangirl screams....)

i don't know... when i first started looking for Jrock.. i was getting tired of the music over here... i mean, i was hardly listening to anything that anyone else had heard of anyway... i just wanted some new sounds...
i the thought to look into the musicians themselves never evencrossed my mind... but then i started to really spacifically get interested in the sound of the music, and i wanted to know what inspired them... so i looked into and was blown away by the hottness of them

yeah... i mean, you tend to find that the wester music fanbass... is based a hell of a lot less on what the people look like, and they coms to love them through the greatness of their music, rather than their appearence...
which is probably what shocked/annoyed me watching my first Jrock live...

i haven't been to many concertst... but the ones i have been to, the screams of joy were about the music... not the people (tho ofvcause they all cheared when they came on stage )

but.. my first Kagrra, live... - you would expect in the wester cultur for there to be an up raw as soon as they start that riff for Hikkai Yakki... or as soon as Isshi gets his fan out for Kotodama.... but there was nothing....
and in one of the Gazette lives some of them were actually sitting down....

i know it's a completely different culture... and we've had our 'freedom of expression' for longer than them..
but... mew...
sometims i feel the musicians aren't getting as much appreciation as perhaps they should...

You're right; the jrockers are probably supposed to seem like they're 'avaliable' all the time. I really like the way you compared it with Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt; they're both extremely popular for the way they look - and still, they date women openly without neither them nor their girlfriends risking to be lynched and killed by millions of rabid fangirls.

Liking Jrock always brings up this discussion; I have gotten comments once or twice like 'you probably never even listen to their music!' or 'you're only obsessed with their looks!'. Well, I'd be lying BIG TIME if I said 'Heck! Looks? Whaddya mean 'looks'!?' - off course I think the jrockers are hot. They are! ... but liking them just because of that would be not only pathetic, but also VERY BORING. I mean, it's the music that's keeping me from falling asleep during math lesson, the music that helps me tune out my damn parents shouting, the music that makes me dance and roll around on the floor for eight hours straight.

I love the music. And.. lord knows.. there are MANY Jrock bands I don't wanna listen to; even though they might be pretty like hell or HOT or whatever. If I don't like the music, I don't pay attention to the band.

It's really sad that there are soo many (way too many) fangirls out there who are just trying to claw/scream their way to possible future marriage with one of the poor guys. First of all: They RUIN the music, both by screaming, but also by turning the jrock phenomena into some sort of fangirl industry with no soul. Second of all: They suck.

Then, the reason we (or at least I) rant so much about how damn hot they are - is because it's a lot of fun looking at all those photos, it's fun to share, and it's fun to comment. We comment their music - why shouldn't we get to comment their looks? Trying to be opposite of a fangirl - by stupidly ignoring that the jrockers look good - I'd see as equally as idiotic as being just a rabid fangirl. After all, the jrock artists really DO try their best to look good, and VK is a lot about dressing up - it's part of the music (or that's what I feel). We can love BOTH the music and the pretty. Ne?

but i also had a really wide range (i mean, i listened to S club for banana's sake)... so i was open to all the other music, and i fell inlove with Kagrra, because of their traditional syle merged with contemporary rock...

yeah.... Kagrra, i'd have to say i can talk about thei music more, because to be hoest, there's a lot more to talk about.
Pura, it' just personal opinion... and i just know that with them, i can always like... relay on me liking it, because i don;t have such high musical ability standards... were as with Kagrra, - everything they do has to reach their normal standards and beyond XD

lol, i... used to be a huge 'pop' freek.... but only because i had nothing else to listen to... if somone had handed me a Led Zepplin CD or Guns and Roses, then i would have listened to that... i was braught up on Billy Idol and the Beetles

Personally Myv's music doesn't do so much for me... but don't get me wrong... there are some tracks I like... but it's just that... like... rather than love...

And I really think his acoustic playing is so awesome and his guitar work in DLQ... but I don't hear enough of that on his recent stuff! I wanna hear more! Awwww, I'm old school in my liking for riddiculous guitar solos

i was listening to him yesterday and decided that i heart his voice.

His voice.. it's amazing... he can.. sing! *duh* He rreally can, though. Many say he can't, that he can only sort of.. err.. talk/shout/sing as if he was a sandpaper (>_<) But no.. Miyavi can vary his voice a lot actually. Some songs are really rock - and he can scream like a madman, and get these strange little rasping (is there a word like 'rasping'?) noises. But then, his voice can be ultra sexy when he whispers and sings softly.. like in some of the aucoustic ones *dies* ... then his voice is really sort of.. soothing and sad and sexy at the same time. I like his voice a lot personally - it's special and it's really Miyavi. You can hear it's him. He's great at doing 'talk' in songs too... love his talk-voice...

I meant to ask.. this is not only about Miyavi. but meh, what the heck:
You know when jrockers (or... ALL japanese artists) put in english in their songs. They say some words or meanings in english, sometimes randomly, other times more or less planned well... I usually never mind, but I've been thinking, maybe that's because I'm no native english speaker.. So I meant to ask: Does the bad english and the sometimes meaningless inputs of english terms and words disturb you? Does it get you annoyed? :?
