Is it true that Miyavi doesn't like Americans?? *confusing look*
I read it somewhere (I actually think it was in here lol).
Though I highly doubt this...I mean...wasn't he wearing a pants with the American flag on it?? hahaha.

Off course I wouldn't know what he thinks, and I'm sure he doesn't hate Americans... However, there has been people guessing this by his attitued towards.. well, foreign countires (that's not taiwan and korea) Miyavi has had a very proud approach when it comes to being japanese, and has been sort of 'I-love-Japan-and-no-other-place!'.
Also, he's had two America-tours booked, but cancelled them...
However, I can't explain the American-flag-pants XDDDDDDD
I'm sure Miyavi would really enjoy touring europe OR America, and I'm also sure he loves his western fans. He's probably just been too busy. And he's got a huge fanbase in Asia to please...

Matchstickfan: I have no idea about Miyavi but a lot of people just don't like Americans =P They say we are rude and self centered, admittedly yes many of us are like that, one of the reasons I hate being here. That's ok, next spring and I get to visit Japan after that I move!

Ooh, thats a toughie! I'd say it has to be Shin de mo Boogie Woogie, its just brilliant-his dancing!! But he looks so different and amazingly hot in Joushou Gaidou...!
And the Ashita Genki ni naare pv, is just sooo adorable...

I love them ALLL. I just can't pick just one. I mean I love Jibun Kakami 2003 (sorry if i mispelled) the part where he argues with himself is to cute. Shindemo Boogie Woogie, Miyavi+Stripper Pole= HOT. And Ashita ni naare is so cute.

I agree with lost to some extent. Sometimes he is just utterly hot and just so smexy. Other times he is just so cute you want to feed him candy (sugarless candy he is already on a 24hr sugar rush).

I think he's a very talented artist who know very strongly about his style and ways of expressing himself through his music, and because he knows his own style with confidence, that's what makes him hot and stand out from rest of some other artists who can only imitate/uncertain about their style..... am I even making sense to u guys?
(although there is a couple style/song I don't like from MYV*don't hurt me!*, but hey, everyone have different opinions and tastes, overall I still like him )

*phew* good to know I have some company....yeah, theres actually quite a few songs I didn't like, like "Son of *****", "Freedom Fighter", "Ossan ossan ore nanbo ", "POP is dead" etc....I know some people do, that's fine......but I don't....
however, I DO LIKE "Girls, Be Ambitious", "Ashita Tenki ni Naare", "Ashita Genki ni Naare", "Coinlockers baby ", "papa mama something marenu baby"...etc
yeah, and I don't like his earlier styles of clothing......or when he is in Due le Quartz, whoever is the stylist needs some serious training/guidance
some songs are just pure annoying
but some songs are soooo incredibly good
(maybe it's just me, but I think he's getting better and better)
I would show you guys a few MYV styles I hated, but I don't
see a point in saving something I don't like that takes up space in my hard drive to limit space from saving the ones I like....so I'll just show this example:

*trying to catch up with the pace of this thread* ... Favourite PV? ... I'd have to say Ashita ni naare, it's just adorable, sexy, happy, beautiful all in one, both song and PV. I loved Miyavi's looks for that one too

I'd have to agree with v.v.n. though - Miyavi seems to be very confident in himself (no ****, damn conceited.. ) , and I think that's partly why he'll try out soo many different styles and looks - and manage too always look good/cool/(insert any other praise here) - because he likes himself!

I have seen few few few pics of Miyavi where he doesn't look wonderful (but that's just my oppinion), and I don't think there are hardly any styles I dislike (being very honest) - although I wasn't too hot about the whole Freedom Fighter thingy (talking about the song and stuff), but.. I still like that song.. and... *gets confused and starts crying*

Kinsao: That's one thing we haven't seen yet.. potato-sack-Miyavi... I'll be waiting for that one... (Although, there HAS been a plastic-bag-Miyavi )

It's strange, but for me it's almost like Miyavi's looks are too perfect. It's almost like, can I say 'too pretty'... like looking at a manga character or a doll or a painting... artistically I can say 'he's beautiful!' but in myself... it's something else that I'm wanting... don't quite know how to describe... :sorry:

Also, his face isn't quite chiselled enough to be my idea of perfection...

is it kind of like a graduation ceremony cap and gown thinging that everyone have wear and get photoshoots in order to be qualified as a true J rocker? well, plastic bag Miyavi (I don't remember seeing that ), I guess he advance himself from the vegetable section to the cash register so he can be different from the rest, at least he didn't pick 'paper' I really saw a group of band members put paper bags over their head with holes being cut at the eye, literally! I'm not kidding! it's been posted somewhere else in other thread, I don't remember the name though, I mean, I couldn't even TELL who it is...yeah, like,who can? with the paper bag over the face? but that group picture sure did gimme a blastic un-stop-able deadly-out-of-breath laughters

Kinsao, I think Miyavi does have some manga features to him.....so darnit handsome! I don't know about 'perfection'....since everyone have different standards to 'perfection'......but, we know MYV is darn hot for sure!
