Merry is releasing the LAST INDIES TOUR~Shambara to the CORE~ACT.1 on 3/31.

Part 1 of the pair of DVDs will contain live footage from the last indies tour in 2005, all 13 different locations starting at Shibuya O-EAST (7/19) and ending at Nagoya BOTTOM LINE (8/17). Also included are the two CORE limited gigs at Meguro Rockmaykan (8/20,21) and the EXTRA live in Hiroshima (12/03).

Anyone who's a fan of Merry knows how mysterious their vocalist Gara is, and how he doesn't speak at lives or allow his recorded speaking voice to be heard. I found a couple live songs where Gara actually speaks to the crowd. In one he is basically just shouting, but you still get to hear his voice.

Lost generation is a good song :-) . I've been getting into Merry a little bit more lately.

It was weird hearing Gara's speaking voice, it's a lot softer than I would've thought. Like he'd have a good voice if you needed someone to calm you down or read you a bedtime story ("bedtime story"), haha, I dunno if that makes sense, but yeah. It's nice to have the "mystery" solved though.

I wouldn't mind Gara telling me a bedtime story haha. His speaking voice is very soft and feminine. I didn't imagine it to sound that way considering his raspy vocals and screams.

This is the coolest photo of him. How sweet of him to call me on the phone during one of his lives so I could hear his comforting voice directly lol...

Someone on Batsu the other day called him a "naked singing gymnast"... (with reference to the headstand picture :giggle: )... that just creased me up! :D
 
I don't know how or why this happened, but now every time I empty the trash on my computer that picture of Gara with the phone is the trash icon hahaha.
