Hello,
If possible, please kindly help me with translation of the following sentence:
そうして かう かうと かなしそうな こえを のこして とおい そらへ きえていったと。
I could translate it as:
This done, she leaved voice that seemed as sadly crying and varnish in the sky.
But I am not sure about そうして meaning. I translated it as "that was done", but I am not sure it is correct translation.
Another difficulty is とおり. Maybe it could mean "way", but I am not sure how I can put it into the translation.
Thank you very much. :sorry:

It's the same to そして; "And then".

I'm sure it's とおそら or "distant sky". :)
