Well, it is certainly a very earthy drink. When I opened the packet from Upton's I got a blast of dirt and moss.

After making it according to custom, etc., I can understand why the Japanese were so healthy before their culture was corrupted by the West. This is an extremely basic beverage which just oozes health.

Japan, return to your roots! The food is better! And, incidentally, thank you for exporting your cuisine worldwide. You have made the world a better place for it.
