Luv interest over friends or vice versa?

What would you say has priority, friends or gf/bf or current love interest about to turn gf/bf?

Anyone faced with this sticky situation or ever been faced. Are you the type to prioritize friends over the other, or are u usually the victim of such priority?
Can there truly be a balance, will one reign over the other? The other day somone told me friends above the other cuz your friends will always be there. I didn't quite agree with that statement but..... I don't know what do you guys think about this.

Personally, I've never fallen in love before. I mean I'm a junior in college, and I've never had a crush on anyone in my life. However, let's just say I did fall in love with somebody. Which would I choose? :? I would personally pick my friends over that particular love interest, because my friends are more precious to me than any infatuation with a woman. Let's just say I've been on the receiving end of being left high and dry by my friends for a love interest so many times, that I would never want to do the same to them. In all honesty, love means nothing to me. :131: :95: (Plus I don't trust women that much anyway. Sorry ladies. :sorry: ) I guess that's why I prefer the friendship over the relationship.

me, I would go for the love interest (if it looked like things were going well) your friends know you care about them and you are going to prove to your love interest they matter if you pick them over friends.
