its also important to converse in the language you want to learn

I would like to get some practice in with talking Japanese as well, because as you say - it's easy enough to practice writing and reading by yourself, having a conversation with yourself is.... well, it can be weird at times, especially in Japanese.

I'm not that great at Japanese either but I practice regularly so hopefully we'll be able to teach each other something. If you want I can PM you my MSN or Skype details.

I was hoping to maybe use MSN but i realized that my lap top doesnt have msn so I'm dling skype right now

JMoon, probably Skype is best because you can either use it like a messenger, a phone or a video call so it's got every option really. At the moment i'm studying using the Genki textbooks which have group/pair exercises in them which would be really good to try out with you guys.

Ahh, I heard about Skype ( I can use it on PSP as well).

I am interested in voice chat not typing chat, so once I get skype set up, I will PM you.
