language schools out of the city

Hello, I want to study Japanese in Japan next summer for ~2 months, however all of the language schools seem to be in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka, so can anyone please recommend one in a more rural area to me? I've been to Japanese cities before and of course have really enjoyed them, but it seems more conducive to learning to be in a place where English isn't so frequent, plus I would like to see different parts of the country, learn more about traditional Japan, etc.

If it helps I'd say I'm maybe an "advanced beginner" (3 years of high school study), cost is irrelevant, and I'd like to do homestay (seems necessary outside of a major city, anyway)

I know the university of morioka have a have a Japanese language course much like the language schools, the problem is they require 3 kyu for students to be accepted and i think they only have one year minimum education, but morioka is a rather small city in tohoku about 30min with shinkansen north of sendai
