Korean people in South Korea, society and local people's life.
Dear All,
I'm preparing my first trip to South Korea and my activities will be in Seoul and Busan. So, I'm kindly asking those who were there to truly tell me their experiences with local people there. In my left time I will be mostly moving alone for enjoying food, shopping or maybe sightseeing. Thank you very much.

This is the "Japanese News & Hot Topics" section.

Hi Mike, I know. I just saw the Chinese Forum Threads and no Korean one! I didn't know where to post this subject! I didn't find a General Thread for no Japanese subjects. So, well! Nobody should be obliged to answer! My thread can be ignored^^

I moved it to "Chit Chat" .

I think it will get attention here OK. Hopefully someone here has been to Korea recently.

Busan is a decent seaside city. The people seemed friendly enough but your mileage may vary. Go check out Haeundae beach because that's where everyone goes, and go to Spaland or whatever it's called, a famous jjimjilbang that is apparently super nice. Ask around about it. Busan has a vibrant expat community, if you want to meet people try the couchsurfing groups or something similar. It's pretty spread out, so don't spend all your time in one place. There are some nice hiking courses along the coast that are pretty nice.

Also, I check posts via the "new posts" button, so I'll see any recent posts regardless of where it is (unless I've put a board on ignore like the J-pop one, yech). Please don't post a question in the wrong forum just because it'll get more traffic.

Hi nice gaijin,
Thank you very much for your answer and for the precious information. Don't worry, that was never my intention. I just didn't know about Chit Chat & Miscellaneous general Forum as I'm new here.
