Because Japanese is different from english, english words made in katakana can become the same thing or it's synonym in english. For instance, トラブル・メーカー becomes Mischief Makers. トラブル is Trouble, but it can become Mischief, right?

Isn't is 'trouble maker', not 'mischief maker'? I've never heard 'mischief maker' in English before...

My impression of a "mischief maker" would be someone who likes to play pranks, which can be humorous and playful.

A "trouble maker" is someone who causes problems for others and is unwelcome.

In Japanese, トラブルメーカー is the latter and not the former.

This is not an issue of translation or language. You're talking about the Japanese and English titles of a videogame. This is branding and marketing.
