I need help to translate this into 日本語

'Run forward' or 'Keep running' or 'Continue running'
I tried this sentance:

駆け続ける 「かけつづける」, but I'm not sure about gerund. Do I need to put 'ke' or 'ki', because 'keep walking' is 歩き出して or 歩き続ける... I'm confused because from 書く is 書いて. Please help and explane...

The most natural (and neutral) way would probably be 走り続ける (はしりつづける). 走る is the verb for running. 駆ける sounds more like you're chasing after something or have a particular goal in mind.

When you combine a verb to ~続ける you use the "stem" or "pre-masu" form of the verb.

So...
走ります
-->
走り
-->
走り続ける

Thanks this really helped me. I had some problems with my dictionary software, so it first show me 駆ける and than 走る at the end of page...
Also, can you tell me how can I write 'run ahead/forward'. Thank you very much for helping me and for spending some time here. 真直走る
