You have to understand she was 16 when she came out with her first album, By now she is at least 24. That's why she looks like a 13 year old. Her first career was fashion and not so much singing.

She is probably like D[di:]. Loves fashion, art, and music all at once.

i was shocked when i saw what she looked like... i thought sh';d be all punked up and ness... but then i was new to the whole lolita thing, and i didn't know much about modern day Japanese fashion statments ^^;
she's not pop tho... *shakes head*
(i mean as far as the music genrer... she's possibly considered under the 'popular' title among the Japanese music charts... i have no idea)

but, bleh, i heared she wrote her first song when she was... either 9 or 13, can't remeber, but it was during class... french comes to mind, but that's probably me confusing memories ^^; - cos she was bored *nods*

umm.... Miyavi very often looks like a 5 year old and people don't complain.
