Hey everybody! It has been a looooooong time!

Since I haven't had a computer at home in over two years, it's very difficult for me to cruise the forums like I once did. I have been spending some time at the public library everyday, and decided I'd log on and check on the good ol' JREF.

A lot of things have happened since I was last here regularly. My husband and I are separated now. The difference in culture has really been showing its ugly head during all of this. It's been long and complicated and exhausting. I'm determined to not let it break me, though.

I would really love to hear from all of my old JREF friends and know how you all are doing. I'd even love to hear from some new ones!

Mike Cash, I could use something from you right about now, so please don't let me down! I would insert a smilie here, but I know you don't like them.

I will be checking back, and I expect to see some replies!

Mycernius, it's been forever, it seems! So glad to see you. You too, Mikawa. I have really missed everyone. It sucks to only be able to get on the computer from the library, but I guess I'll have to take what I can get for right now.

Where is Frank? I noticed he hasn't been here in a while?

Hi Rachel!

I didn't notice this thread until today!

Frank has most recently become addicted to Paltalk, a voice/video chat system, where he chats up long-haired women. LOL

Still, he does come here, though not as often as before. He had been and probably still is suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome and serious back pains from his job. He is on medical leave because of this. I think he hasn't posted here just because he hasn't noticed this thread like I did until now.

I can tell it must be long and exhausting for you now, but hope everything turns out well!

Hello! Sorry to be so late replying, but believe it or not I've been abroad (including Japan!) for the last 3 weeks and in fact just got back from Australia today (phew!). Really sorry to hear your bad news but I hope things are getting better for you now and hope there are many great things ahead in the future!

I don't hang around here so much now that I don't use the PC at home (I still have one, but... it's a long story) and am a lot busier at work - but recently have been popping back here more often, though I don't contribute much these days and pretty much zero on j-music.
