Hello,
First, a little about myself. My name is Timothy. I am 21 years old. I work as a Computer programmer. I am married and have a son that just celebrated his very first birthday.
(enough about me
)I have long since been interested in learning Japanese and in the Japanese culture. Especially Japanese rock bands! I love the way Kana and Kanji are drawn out and I have to take my time to complete them, like an Art. I only started pursuing this passion about a month ago, and so far it has been really fun! I love the fact that the sentence structure is so much different from that of English.
I have always been extremely fascinated by Japanese culture and I find it very beautiful. I would love to maybe get a pen pal, or some Japanese friends that i could hang out with, but sadly I think Japanese people are somewhat scarce around Tennessee, USA...maybe someone on here would be interested??
My wife and I are wanting to take a very LONG vacation to Japan and to possibly move to Japan sometime in the near future. I would love nothing more then to be able to get immersed in all things Japanese.
I can not wait to share my experiences and hopefully get answers to my questions about the language. From all i have read, I see there are very many helpful people here!
I know this has been probably too long of an introduction, but I'm too excited to just type a sentence or two

I'm right below you in Mississippi so I know the feeling when you talk about inability to find Japanese or any multicultural things for that matter.
