JREF Uncluttered

JREF has a nice design, but none of us make use of every single part of it. While digging around through the Firefox extensions yesterday I discovered the "RIP" (Remove It Permanently) extension which lets us tailor the appearance of any website by removing unwanted elements. While it is perhaps most useful for removing advertisements, I found that it is just as handy for slimming down JREF.

Here is a link showing how I have altered the way JREF appears in my browser. What you can't see is the way the banners and Google ads don't show up on the threads. (They get loaded, so it counts for revenue, i think. They just get suppressed from view).

Looks really nice, Mike! I use Firefox, too, for some websites, but for a person with low vision, nothing beats Opera--until someone comes up with an add-on that creates a balanced, outstanding-visibility zoom viewer for Firefox!!
