Jref party?

Whatever happened to the plans for a Jref party in Tokyo? I know Maciamo had a posted a thread for it awhile ago. What happened? Were plans dropped because not enough people could make it? I for one am still interested.

Actually, I'm setting up a nomikai for my workplace right now; I wouldn't be opposed to setting one up for Jref!
