JREF as 3rd Party Payment Service.

Regarding to buying & selling activities here at Merchandise-topic, i want to suggest JREF to create a 3rd party payment service like a Custodian or paypal, or something.

It doesnt need a huge project to fulfil this, it can only requires JREF bank account or ID account (for Western Union transaction), just to Ensure none of the party (Buyer and Seller) CHEAT to each other....

JREF can be the trusted 3rd party, so Buyer send money to JREF, and JREF confirm to Seller that Buyer has made a Payment, THEN The seller send the Purchase. The seller gives package sending code as a proof. Then JREF send the money to the seller.

Can it be done? Cos i think this Facility will help so many people.

Sounds Like.....

a legal nightmare! In today's world of "sue at the drop of a hat" , it would put the Forum in the middle of a possible big time problem. Better to let PayPal and Ebay like outfits handle such things. Poor Thomas & Machimo will have to quit there jobs and devote their lives to the Forum to provide such wonders.
I think the Forum provides wonderous services as it is, why change? But who knows, the Forum is always changing and providing new things; it may come about.
