josie knocks gackt?

HOW IS IT THAT I'M JUST NOW FINDING THIS OUT?

jeeeeesus. i watched that one movie "josie and the pussycats" the other day (against my will) and actually found something odd about on of their songs.
it was the main one that they would shut up about.. that "three small words" song or whatnot.
it took me a while to figure it out but once i did, i wasn't pleased. i found that the music to that song was exact to the music of gackt's "another world". when looking up the lyrics, there are MANY similarities. too many.

now, what i'm asking is, did they completely rip off his song? did he give them permission? ..or which song came out first? ..i mean i may be slamming them when in fact i should be slamming gackt..

but, YEAH. hopefully someone has realized this little bit before and can give me a good explaination.

Gackt took this from Josie. The "Josie and the Pussycats" soundtrack was released earlier then "Another World".

This sort of thing happens a lot. Both releases probably came from the same recordcompany.

yeah, i checked dates... gackt tottaly wripped them off, lol... even some of the lyrics are the same... but i read the translation, and another worlds completely different from three small words.
another world is better... i'll give him that, lol, but not onna his best

o, but gackt doesn;t lack talent, that's for sure.... wait, you said creative talent.... he wrote syunikiss.... *i heared... don;t shoot me if i'm wrong* but... that's like onna the gackt eara mm's best...
also, he >didn't< lack creativity in his fashion... it's gott a little flat now...

lol... ahhh, don't get me wrong, i love the guys.... but i love making fun of him more XD

O.O Gackt is talented. listen to Story. Vanilla. Mizerable, and so on. seriously maybe he just got inspired by the sound of that song. you cannot say that he is not creative. seriously. im not even a huge fan of his but he is talented.

and if you listen to his piano/violin/guitar playing... you can;t play stuff like that without being creative.


o, and the thing with these two songs? the same thing happened with jenifer lopez *ikk* and jessica simpson *ikk ikk*
umm... simpson came out with 'irrisistable *has a sister who listens to this crud* and then lopez with aint it funny. the tunes to the verses are EXACT and then the choruses could be played over eachother in perfect timing. it's the same with three small words and another world.

I'm probably about the most ignorant about matters J-rock of all you aficionados on here... Only been into it for a relatively short time... But I think it was Yuki wrote Syunikiss. Shoot me if I'm wrong but I read it somewhere (not that I believe everything that I read of course but not knowing any better...)

Don't know the song that started this whole thread off but, definitely Gackt is *extremely* talented. Even though I don't like absolutely every single one of his songs I've heard, you've got to admit he's a great musician. Listen to 'Regret', 'Vanilla' and 'Nine Spiral' one after the other and fall speechless before such diversity...
