I opened the "alternative" chatroom around 10 am, but closed it early due to my sound problems.

The problem has been solved, but it was in the late afternoon by then... sorry!!

For anyone interested, I sometimes open a chat/music room for a couple of hours in the Learning Different Languages section in the morning hours (any day of the week, 10am-ish, Japan time) under another nickname.
(You'll know when you check out the section! )
JFYI, the room is open only when I have the time--that meaning it's extremely random.

We were in my room today (Oct 18) and had fun! Thanks for all of you who came!

But.. sorry about the last part. It seems Paltalk suddenly started maintenance and I was kicked out... Hope it doesn't happen again...

To those who signed onto PAL yesterday for the chat and didn't find the room, I am very sorry. It wasn't that I forgot. I was up and ready to open the room but when I started my computer and was just about to type in my password, the screen went blank. I turned off the monitor and switched it back on. The log-on screen came on for half a second and it went black again. So, that meant it was the monitor. So I went to a few stores looking for an inexpensive monitor but the cheapest one I could find was close to 20,000 yen. I finally found a store that sold used ones and bought one for 9,800 yen. Anyway, by the time I got home with the monitor, it was 2pm...

The "new" monitor is working great and I WILL be there next weekend to open the chatroom.

This reminds me of what my ex said to me when I cancelled a couple of planned get-togethers. Only she was right. I'd just gotten tired of her for being clingy and for her annoyingly positive outlook on life.

I am truly sorry, HnH. I just didn't know how to break it to you so I decided to not open the room this week and make up some lame story about my computer monitor dying.

Seriously though, I do apologize for my absense. I could have gone to my brother's and borrowed his computer to at least post a notice here but that would have been too much of a hassle. I promise I will stop hating you by next weekend and open the room.

the problem that I can't download the program ,

is this any problem with the site ?
 
iceman,Even if you downloaded it you can't access to JREF chatroom...all midlle east countries can not log in to the other rooms.

Sorry, iceman. As Hezam wrote, there are restrictions for non-paying users from certain countries.

I wonder...What if I had you guys on my Pal List and sent you private invitations to the room? Would that possibly work?

I was trying to open the PALTALK for 4 hours ago but it seems like i have a problem in my laptop,maybe the firewall as it says and my account is banned =_= i dont know why .....
Although ASHIKAGA-san was not online today,Hope eveything's ok !

If you didn't do anything that brought on the ban, that can happen if someone with the same IP address as yours had been banned.
Maybe you can email the Paltalk people about it.

Sorry for "not" being able to be there today. A lot of things to do for the next couple of days....
