Hi,

First my background.

Ethnic German fluent in English and German.
I lived 6 years abroad and 3 years in that time have been in Scotland.
I got a working holiday visa for Japan and go there in a week.
Nagoya to be exactly and I got about 9000 euro in savings.

My skills are not the best lol.

I have been working as a lorry driver in Scotland and in Germany with DHL delivering parcels.
I have no university degree.

Well, I go to Japan and I would be really happy to land a job in a eikaiwa. I did apply to the bigger ones online but got turned down. I have my doubts that I will get a job in this.
Working as a waiter in a German restaurant would be also a option.
Beside that maybe I could work as a dude for moving furniture.
I am quit strong build and can do a job like thàt easily.
I got not really any other ideas for jobs.
My Japanese is not the best I learn since about 2 years by myself and people are impressed about my level but I think it's not do good. Not yet...

My questions are:

Are their hard labour jobs the Japanese don't want to do but they pay the rent. So I got a chance when I apply.
As a German I can drive cars in Japan if I got a translation. But does this also apply to my lorry driving license?

I hope someone has great ideas^^

Thanks
