Jobs on military bases in Okinawa

Thanks, CC1.
May I ask how long it took you to parlay your entry level job into "something bigger"? Should I be looking out for a particular job status (ie NA, NF, GS, etc)? Would I be eligible to apply for other job opportunities after 3 months?
Sorry for asking so many questions. Again, thanks so much for your help!

I was actually lucky. I found another job within a month. It was something in which I had particular skills that were needed, and hard to find. I changed jobs after only 2 months, but they tried to stop me saying that I couldn't change jobs that fast. I worked my way around that though.

I would take any job status you can find, but they all have their benefits and shortcomings.

You can apply for any openings as they arise...don't let people tell you otherwise.

P.S. I will answer your PM as I get a chance...been pretty busy lately.

Help Me If you can

CC1..Whats up.. Do you have some insight into this job thing. I am an 11year Veteran of the US Armed Service and I served in Iraq. Is there help for me. I have Finance and Accounting and Administrative Specialist Skills. I heard there might be some good Contracting jobs...let me know what you think please.
