JLPT during covid?

Generally speaking? Definitely not.
N2 level is late-intermediate/early-advanced level and far, far beyond what would be considered "beginner level".
Even people who passed N3 generally say they need to improve their Japanese quite a bit before having a reasonable shot at passing N2.
If by "beginner" you mean N5/N4 level, you have essentially zero chance of passing N2 except by ridiculously lucky guessing.
But you can always take the sample test on the JLPT homepage and see for yourself:

I agree with bentenmusume - you really should try at least N3 level before N2.
Even if you study all of the vocabulary, grammar etc for the N2 level, the test includes a lot of the vocabulary and grammar from N3 and N4 too, so it is a compilation of the different levels that came before. It would be impossible to jump straight to this.
