Hi, this is the website I have been toiling over since Oct last year.
http://www.suwaprecision.com
Sorry if it bores you as it is a corporate homepage promoting Japanese manufacturing companies in Suwa ツ諏窶適. There are Japanese pages inside too.

Just for info, Suwa is the location where the world`s first quartz watch was made by Suwa Seikosha, which is the Seiko Epson today. It is well known for its SMEs who specialize in mass production of small precision components.

Anyway, 4 Japanese 窶吮??ツ渉ャナ?テゥ窶ケテ?ステ絶?卍キ from Suwa and I are shareholders of the Suwa Precision Engineering in Singapore. By 窶吮??ツ渉ャナ?テゥ窶ケテ?ステ絶?卍キ, I mean each of them run 1 company, so I am actually partnering with 4 companies from Suwa.

In order to achieve greater market exposure, I decided to study SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) by myself, and redo the whole website in Oct while running the company.

I have been putting out press releases over the newswire from Nov, and recently started submitting technical and business articles too. Luckily, managed to build the homepage up from Alexa traffic ranking 4000000+ until 900000+ today. Have also started receiving email enquiries from prospective suppliers, sales representatives and RFQs.

Will be adding more technical content, articles and press releases as we push along in 2006. Hope you find the homepage interesting.

Cheers!
Ken

ok only reason i like this link is i spent 3 years learning how to weld, use a milling and CNC machine then spend 1 year working for a small company making speality nuts and bolts stuff like that...

Carlson, you mentioned 1 year. Are you still working at the specialty bolt and nut company or have switched to different field? Machining, stamping, precision engineering etc. have been labelled the 3K sectors since god knows when.

I joined the Air Force to get into engineering. during basic i lost my job and they stuck me in air transportation. nothing to do whith what i loved doing.. maybe if i go TDY or next time i go on leave to Singapore you could show me around.. lol how far are you from Paya Labar?

haha! My company is located at Ubi Road which is just next to Paya Lebar. I can even hear the jet planes fly by about once a day. Let me know when you drop by Singapore.
:)

I am now in Suwa Japan on business trip. Arrived here since 11th and will fly to Shanghai this Sun 15 Jan for mtgs until next week end. Maybe we can meet in Singapore or Japan next time round. Cheers!
