This is not a matter of attacking someone for voicing their opinions. If you just came here to see what we think of your little business, the answer is clear. You are ripping off your customers, and none of us can condone it. If you manage to peddle your wares to someone foolish enough to pay $90 for a noren I have personally seen for less than $30, more power to you. Forgive us for not being taken in.
um, I don't see ANY designer or brand names on your site at all, save for your extensive line of Tiger Electronics rice cookers. I don't understand the argument that your products--which sure LOOK exactly like the cheap crap at the hyakkin--are worth three times as much because of a brand-name which you don't even bother mentioning on your site. Seems more like you're just trying to exploit some naive Americans... what kind of "purist," after all, couldn't see how ridiculous it is to charge $40 for a tea whisk and one and a half ounce of tea?

I'm really here to share all the knowledge I've gained over the years on Japan/US relations and culture, etc. and have had a ton of fun catching up on the latest "hot topics"...

Yes, thanks 'jlifeintl' - your dislike of my suggestion (J-list) has only heightened awareness of 'Tekoki' and spawned a horde of growth-stunted, hairy-handed, blind onanists.
Seriously though - I think J-List is OK. You can enter the under 18 section if you want, and they send very informative emails to their customers about life in Japan, learning Japanese, and all sorts of things. (as well as trying to sell you their latest products.)
To be honest, I haven't bought much from there, but I suggested it here as somewhere to buy Japanese stuff online - even if a lot of it is pop-culture type things.
So, sorry if I offended anyone else by mentioning this site.
