Fun names Derfel. It's great that your cat makes you laugh. 
Pets are so great, they ask for nothing and give everything.
We picked a name for our little chihuahua, and Frodo was the winner. It was the one name that hubby and I could agree on. I wanted Rico, but he said is sounded "girly". So we now have "Frodo Baggins of the Shire"!:car:

Rico girly? Ain't Rico a Latin American/Spanish male name?
Yeah, pets are great, but my damn neighbor doesn't wanna believe it, he accused my cats of eating cherry from his trees. Now that is dumb.

I can't imagine cats would eat cherries! That would be very strange indeed.
Yeah, Rico is a boys name in Latin American / Spanish countries. I think it sounds girly to mu husband because of Japanese girls names, like Eriko etc. Frodo is a good name for him though. He's short and brave and has funny ears!

Currently our cats are called
Silas, the oldest one, who is 19
Nermal, the youngest (12), who was named after nermal in the Garfield cartoons because she was cute when she was a kitten. Nermal in Garfield is referred to as the worlds cutest kitten.
Our dog is called Mooragh, which is Manx for swamp, marshy area. Often called Mor0n when she does something stupid. Well she is a dog
The cat I used to have in my avatar, for those that can remember, was Winston, but he died earlier this year at 15.
In the past we have had cats called:
Simon and Garfy, after Simon and Garfunkle
Merry and Pippin, out of Lord of the Rings
Tigger. Obvious for a ginger and white cat
Dogs:
Dylan and Dougal. Brothers and named after characters from the Magic Roundabout.
Kipper because she was from the Isle of Man
Bilbo, an extremely stupid dog, again from Lord of the Rings.
One rabbit called Frodo, yet again from Lord of the Rings.
The book is one of my fathers favourites.

Yeah i considered doing a saltwater tank a while back , they aren't that complicated to run but you do have to be really extra vigilant about water quality since marine fish in general are quite fragile and marine tank set ups in general are more expensive to run than freshwater ones, a small freshwater tropical fish 4-5inches long could cost you ﾂ≫??-ﾂ≫??'s, but a marine fish of the same size could easily cost in excess of ﾂ≫??0-15's.
In the end what stopped me from going marine was the cost of everything (my freshwater tanks already cost me loads) and that i would want to get a decent size marine tank if i did get one (but i don't have the space for anymore larger tanks "sigh"...)
If i ever did a marine tank i would definately by far have to have cow or box fish, i just think they look too cute;

They just kinda hover around like little pufferfish flapping their little fins, so cute and friendly

@ Arlet, yes, Bunners loved bananas. He loved them fresh the best, but dried chips were ok too. You should see if your bunnies like them. I would love to know what you find out!
@Tokis-Phoenix, puffer fish are so cute! Taking care of a saltwater tank I think for me would be hard. We are gone so often. I love the pic's of the yellow fish! Yay, they were cool! That's why I would love a saltwater tank. The fish are just so awesome!
I think Lord of the Rings has been used to name quite a few pets! I love the book and the movie so I would use more LOTR names! I like Merry and Pipin for a duo!
