Hi. Needing some help on this Japanese Good Luck Flag. Any info helps pertaining to authenticity and translation. Thank you.

When you say "authentic", do you mean an authentic flag from the war era? If so, this flag doesn't look anything like a wartime flag.
The phrase at the top means "Everlasting luck in battle". The other writings are just names. Maybe some kind of post-war souvenir? Anyway, its not an authentic war flag.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it was from war time era. The feeling of it seems delicate, it has the leather edges on 2 sides and as you can see it has a tear on the side. I appreciate the feedback.
