The first ones which spring to mind are Dynasty Warriors (6 to be specific) and Final Fantasy - amazing games!
Oh and Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition deserve a mention too
Pokemon is fantastic, although I do believe the series is slightly overrated - a lot of people who are into Japanese culture don't really do their research, so don't realise there are quite a few other Japanese games!
 
I love Final Fantasy...especially VII...but XIII looks great too

im with axelle FF is my favorite VII, VIII, IX, X/X2, and XIII ^^
yeah XIII is awesome its like the entire game is a movie scene and lightning is hot

yeah i know what you mean it looks awesome and the guy reminds me of an evil cloud XP i tried to pre-order it but the guy working didnt know when it was comming out so i pre ordered FF IV instead
 
I can't play it unfotrunately...I don't have PS 3 so I only admire from distance
I remember that I tried FF VII...I thought I was gonna die...the graphic was horrible I couldn't recognize where are doors, or where I should go
 
oh that sucks DX now that i've moved i don't have a ps3 anymore T__T i just have my FF games XP
yeah VII had awesome graphics when it came out now its just a bunch of blocks lol but its still a great game ^.^
 
You're right...but I ended very soon...I'm not a good player...I really hated Choccobos
 
Why did you hate the Chocobos? They were the best things to ride I loved the Tidus and Yuna pairing, so FFX for me
 
I couldn't catch those idiots! xD...it always ran away or I hit it by accident xD

I'm a nervous without patience...so that's why I ended very soon xD
 
yeah the only thing i didn't really have the patience for is morphing monsters into the sources (power, vitality, etc.) XP
 
I also play metin 2...but that's not japanese...I think it's korean
 
only Metin 2...is easy and you don't have to think too much...it is inspirated by Korea...though there are ninjas...I like it...and it's not hard for older pc to run it...it's online rpg
 
yeah...you can try english I think...I use czech website...it's free too...but some people say it's boring...well I always say...when you play boring of course you will be bored...I know there a few good people so I'm not bored at all xD

Generally, most games are in Japanese, I think you feel better games that are linked to a cartoon or something random
