japanese cable tv , help !

hi

i want to ask , i asked my japanese friend to help me get the
japanese cable tv and e2 skapa + location free
but the receiver company said that the receiver should be in japan so it can
be returned after the contract .
this receiver comes with a dvd recorder http://asiandirect.net/?pid=10853234
how will i be able to record without it ? O.O
and the sony location free machine http://www.coneco.net/PriceList.asp?COM_ID=1060907060

they told me that i have to download the location free + skapa software in my pc , but how can i play it on my tv . and my internet should be fast , but still i dont know how will i be able to watch ...

i need some quick help please thanks ^^

Via internet. You can operate the DVD recorder(recording/playing TV programs) on your PC. Also, they say you need 1Mbps of bandwidth minimum.

u mean i can only watch on pc ? and the programs are automatically saved or recorded

my internet speed is 500bps

i want to know if i can watch on tv or not ..

No. You can LITERALLY operate the recorder via a tool "net de navi" on your browser.

does it work for mac user's btw ?
the screen caps show's how to setup the recorder right ?

Yes. You need to buy "location free player for Mac," though.

Not for the setup but for the operation. The first one is for playing, the second one is for recording.
