Japanese believe Westerners have big long noses

Lucy Lu might require a bit more make-up than Grace Park, but they are both very attractive.

Sandra Oh? Oh man! She is not an actress for her beauty! She is an actress because she is stereotypical. I seriously doubt anyone finds her beautiful.

Wendi Deng Murdoch. Not my taste, but not ugly. Again, a bit of a stereotypical face. Same with Zuckerberg's GF. I would not assume either got their partners for their face alone.

Its also a mixed bag with porn actresses. I like Asa Akira, but believe me, its not all or mostly about her face. And to be honest, a woman's butt will take her far with me. Its far more important than her face. Seriously. I see bare naked beautiful faces all the time, every day, for absolutely free. What I don't see is bare naked beautiful butts. I want what I don't already have.

As for girls in Chinese film being more beautiful, its another mixed bag. Some girls I agree, some I don't. But hands down the most beautiful Asian girl I saw on film was the girl in Tiger and Crane fist/ Savage Killers from 1976, clips of which were used in Kung Pow. And I have seen many other very beautiful girls in Chinese film.

But the thing you have to understand is I never said Sachiko the waitress was at the pinnacle of beauty. I said I liked her face. In Chinese film, I see a certain kind of beauty. But you seem to think its the ONLY kind. My tastes are much more varied. And some faces are attractive despite not being plain beautiful. I feel sorry for you that it seems your tastes are so narrow. Variety is the spice of life.

Same here. I have even had people say they don't speak English after I spoke to them in Japanese. Granted they were old though.

Caster, you have no experience of being a foreigner in Japan. I'm telling you (again) I have experienced similar situations myself several times. Many of us have. Probably most of us. That's why they thought to make the video and why the rest of us can identify with it. It's funny because finally we can laugh at what is a frustrating, annoying, and sometimes insulting situation from our own past experience.

It doesn't happen very often but my wife has experienced the same thing here in the states from time to time. She speaks perfectly fine English, with an accent, but the waitress will just stare at me and ask what she said. It really puts a dent in my wife's confidence of her ability to speak English.

I definitely have a long nose. Most people I know do too. It's quite annoying as it ruins the aesthetics of my face immensely.

David Ury (to the left in the video) is a real person and an actor. Have starred in Breaking Bad and other shows. He have come up with the alter-ego Ken Tanaka and a story about Ken being his lost twin brother who was adopted and raised in Japan. Yes, they are the same person.

Toys made by Japanese which sold in Japan to make fun of westerners.

It is very funny when I posted this in Anime forums where most of its members are westerners because many of them are saying that what I posted are fake and that they won't believe it, they seems to have a very wrong hallucinations about Japanese such as "Japanese look up to westerners".

The common denominator in all of the examples you give is that they all have "coarse" and "hard" facial expressions. Perhaps this is why they are not considered attractive by Asian standards?
